Cintec has come up with a line of blast mitigation devices that use portable vessels that can be filled with water to reduce the effects of blast and frag.

The Water Wall has been accepted widely throughout the world but is having limited exposure here in the US.

The design works based on water molecules being incompressible. This is why dearmers and special charges are effective against IED's.
