Israeli IED TrainingThis Israeli IED Training course will create a base of understanding of 1. the types, methods, and principles of IED's used by terrorist organizations from an Israeli perspective, 2. the psychology of a suicide bomber, and 3. how to handle IED's. This will be followed by units on hazard identification and prevention, and concealed charges. The course will conclude with a half day field demonstration of detonations which integrates the information taught in the classroom. The primary instructor for this course will be Mr. Arie Sansolo, who headed the bomb disposal department of Israel’s leading anti-terrorist unit for 15 years and where IED's and suicide bombers are at times a daily occurrence. Mr. Sansolo is considered Israel’s leading bomb disposal expert and is well-regarded by others in the bomb disposal arena around the world. All of the material in this course is based on real-world improvised explosive device problems Mr. Sansolo has encountered as well as solutions to those problems. Most importantly, his solutions are considered "life-saving." The classroom instruction will be delivered through SGC Group and the MAKO Group with Mr. Sansolo’s guidance. The field demonstration will be presented by Mr. Sansolo. It is a rare opportunity to have a man of this stature, with his background and his level of first-hand experience and expertise come to partner with SGC Group to present this course.
