Gabriel Castleberry, BS, USMC, Business Development

Gabriel Castleberry joined SGC Group as our USMC liaison, Business Development Partner for the East Coast and member of our Board of Advisors.

Gabriel enlisted in the Marine Corps in February of 1999 as an infantryman. A veteran of Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom, he served both deployments overseas as part of the Maritime Special Purpose Force (MSPF) asset for both the 26th and 24th Marine Expeditionary Units (MEU). During both evolutions, he was assigned to the trailer team in direct support of the Force Reconnaissance Direct Action Platoon. He was an active team member during his first deployment and the squad leader during his second deployment.

Gabriel has conventional infantry knowledge and specialized training in Close Quarters Battle, maritime Visit Board Search and Seizure (VBSS) tactics, and various combat shooting packages.

After an honorable discharge from the Marine Corps, Gabriel pursued an academic career in the field of environmental studies. He finished his degree in three and a half years, graduating Cum Laude with a 3.56 GPA from the University of North Carolina, Wilmington.
