Frank Caruso - OPFOR
Frank Caruso is a native of Tennessee that’s returned to his hometown after serving with the 101st Airborne 3rd Brigade INF (Rakkasans). During this time Frank was deployed three times in support of the Global War On Terrorism to include Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Iraq. While deployed as an Infantryman Frank N. Caruso gained valuable experience in countering enemy activity and providing security. Frank graduated from the first overseas U.S. Army Sniper Course since the Vietnam War during his first deployment in Iraq. During his second tour in Iraq heplayed a key role with the on site security for the initial trial of Saddam Hussein in Baghdad. Mr. Caruso’s unit was then sent to Tikrit, Iraq where they would remain for the rest of their one-year tour. During this time Mr. Caruso was able to thrive in a variety of operations such as daily patrols, planning and execution of covert observation points to counter sniper and I.E.D activity, raids on anti-coalition High Value Personnel, and as a Personal Security Detail member for State Department and Civil Affair Officials.

While Franks’ background is primarily in the conventional infantry he has had the privilege to work with many unconventional forces both foreign and domestic throughout his deployments.
