Advanced EP Class
This Advanced EP Class is a comprehensive 3 day course to fine tune the skills, knowledge and abilities of those persons committed to Executive Protection employment. The course is three FULL days with the first day in the classroom, day two in the classroom and in the field and the third day conducting full Field Training Exercises. Day 1 Topics include: Principles of Executive Protection Legalities and Case Studies Corporate Etiquette Know Your Principal-Gathering Intel and Asking Better Questions Situational Awareness/Threat Analysis IED Awareness Operating as a single EP EP Team Operations and Communications Motorcade Procedures Weapons Retention and Disarming Unarmed Defense
Day 2 will cover the following to include classroom and practical application of skills learned in day 1 and day 2.Threat Assessment and Risk Analysis Advance Surveys—Preparation and Planning Command Post Procedures Protection Formations Motorcade Procedures High and Low Threat scenarios IWMD Improvised Weapons of Mass Destruction Restaurant and Banquet Functions Residential and Travel Security
Day 3After a short classroom period will be the Field Training Exercise that will bring it all together. Day 3 will consist of the following: Motorcade Operations Drills Surveillance Detection and Counter Surveillance Operations Attack on Principal Drills Movement Drills Cover and Evacuation Drills

and members of the SGC Group Staff.This Advanced EP class is limited to no less than 10 attendees and no more than 15. Because Day 1 of this training is the one day Mid-Level EP Class, we will have a full class room. People registering for the Advanced 3 Day Class will have precedence over the 1 day attendees as it pertains to class size limitations. People registering for the 3 day course do NOT register for the 1 day. Because of the number of students on day 1, we are will not require a dress code. However, because we will be in the field on days 2 and 3, we ask that attendees dress "Business Casual." At the conclusion of the Field Training Exercises, attendees will receive their Certificate of Completion and should be able to depart prior to evening rush hour.
