Lt Colonel Michael "Moose" Moore
“Michael "Moose" Moore has over 20 years in the United States Air Force where he served as a tactical fighter pilot flying F-4 Phantoms and F-15 Eagles. His military service also includes 12 months as a Tactical Air Control Team Member, serving with the US Army 2nd Infantry Division on the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) in South Korea . Moose also is a graduate of the Korean Army Ranger School . He retired from active duty as a Lieutenant Colonel in 1992, and is certified in Homeland Security Level III by the American College of Forensic Examiners and is a recent graduate of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center with emphasis on counter terrorism. He also recently traveled to Israel where Moose completed specific training in terrorist threat detection focusing on terrorist behavioral indicators. He is an avid student of
Krav Maga
(Israeli self defense) and holds a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do. He is a member of the International Association for Counter-Terrorism and Security Professionals; and is an FAA licensed Airline Transport Pilot. Lt Colonel Moore holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Auburn University and a Masters of System Management from the University of Southern California . Moose is often asked to speak to groups about the importance of vigilance skills. He provides hands on training to various professionals and groups including those in hospitality, healthcare, education, and business.
