James Corder, MPAWORK HISTORY James Corder, while a student at the University of Memphis, worked part-time with Legion Protective Services as a security guard. Assigned to work at various night clubs around Memphis to ensure order inside and outside the establishment premises. Used negotiation skills rather than physical force to diffuse most hostile situations. Assigned for a brief period to work executive protection in the home of local Memphis entertainment celebrity. Upon moving back to Nashville, began working for George H. Currey and Associates providing protective services for clients in and around Nashville.
