Cory ArgenbrightCory Argenbright joined the US Army as an EOD Tech in March 2003. Upon Graduating from NAVSCOLEOD in April 2004 he was assigned to the 764th OR CO (EOD) at Ft. Carson, CO. Cory has been deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and twice in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. As an Army EOD Technician, Cory received his Top-Secret with Special Component Instructions Clearance. Cory also received US Secret Service Credentials and served with the USSS on Presidential and Vice Presidential protection missions. Cory served with 764th OD CO (EOD) with two tours of duty one to Afghanistan in 2004 and one to Iraq from 2006-2007. Cory’s third tour of duty landed him as the Training Advisor to the Iraqi Army Bomb Disposal School from 2008-2009. During these deployments Cory was Awarded his Team Leader Certification. During Cory’s time as the Advisor to the Iraqi Army Bomb Disposal School Cory was responsible for the building of IED Training Lanes, Counter IED Training development, the implementation of the Basic Electronics Course and Operator level Robot Maintenance Course for the Iraqi Army. Also during his tour at the Iraqi Army Bomb Disposal School he was the US base commanders’ liaison with EOD-T contractors and FOB Counter IED NCOIC. Cory was a certified by the Department of Defense as a Counter Terrorism Subject Matter Expert, Counter IED Subject Matter Expert and EOD Subject Matter Expert. While in the Army Cory was awarded the Army Achievement Medal, Army Accommodation Medal and two Bronze Stars for his work during his three combat tours. Also during his time in the Army Cory received two Good Conduct medals, the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal and the Iraq Campaign Medal.
